WILL NICOLL is a British journalist and editor, who writes features, analysis, reviews and essays for newspapers and magazines worldwide. Titles include Esquire (Weekly), Newsweek (US, Europe), The Independent, The Los Angeles Review of BooksThe Moscow TimesThe Telegraph, The Spectator and The Wall Street Journal.  


Will's essays have been twice short-listed for The Shiva Naipaul Memorial Prize, which is awarded for travel writing which evokes "the most acute and profound observation of a culture alien to the writer". Will’s poetry was commended for the 2013 Hippocrates Prize—whose winners were cited by The Lancet and New Criterion as voices which demonstrate "[that] Medicine is where science collides with life".  


Will works primarily for U.S and U.K publications—but also writes for corporate clients in Russia, the Far East and the United Arab Emirates. Clients range from boutique magazines and bespoke print concepts, to large commissions for brands like Singapore Airlines.


Will has worked extensively with the Men's Health brand—writing regular features for Men’s Health UK, while producing bespoke content for new editions of the magazine in both the Middle East and CIS countries. Will’s English features for magazines syndicate regularly, and achieve re-prints across 18+ markets, in 10 languages.
